There's a new version of Democracy Player, the free and open source Internet TV program that can play any video format and that's as easy to use as a TV.

Boing Boing 経由の記事が続いてるんですが、昨日の記事でテレビの事に触れたので、紹介しておきます。

フリーでオープンソースのインターネット・テレビで、どんなビデオ・フォーマットでも再生出来て、テレビと同じ様に簡単に使えるそうです。

Participatory Culture Foundation によって開発された、Democracy Player は RSS リーダと BitTorrent クライアントを組み合わせたソフトウェアだそうです。

YouTube の人気をみても分かる様に、人々が求めているのは必要以上の画質等ではなく、良質なコンテンツなんだと思います。

テレビを作ってるメーカーも考えないと・・・
